What to expect

Leading with integrity, coping with stress, conflict resolution, negotiation skills, project management – vision development, planning and strategy, monitoring and evaluating our work, analysis of team roles, how to work together effectively, stages in team development, delegation skills, feedback supervision, appraisal skills, times of worship, praise, prayer, Eucharist, ministry and friendly fellowship.


Guest speaker
Michelle Moran, born and educated in England was a full-time youth worker. She worked at the international chaplaincy for overseas students in London. She obtained a degree in religious studies and Sociology. Joined the Sion Community as a founder member in 1985 and initially worked on and led the Parish Mission teams. After three years of working nationally in Parishes, Michelle moved within the community pioneering into evangelisation, teaching and training. She is a ‘communicator’ and has a recognised international ministry in the areas of preaching, teaching, evangelisation and has published various books on these subjects. Michelle has recently completed a Masters Degree in Pastoral Theology. Her thesis was about leadership and ministry in Catholic Parishes.


Europe Arise
· Is a service to the Catholic Church offering training, formation and support to the youth. Thus encouraging the young laity in becoming powerful and effective witnesses in their respective ecclesial and social environment. 

· Aims to reach out to young people in their own environment; among young married couples, professional and Church leaders. 

· Desires to establish a network between various groups, communities and other organisations in order to offer and make available their resources to others.

· Is the European arm of Youth Arise International and is governed by a council made up of international youth leaders.

· Relates directly to the Pontifical Council for the Laity.
